Microstructure of insulating coatings and their influence on the iron loss of oriented silicon steel

摘要: 采用XRD、SEM和TEM等方法研究了取向硅鋼陶瓷涂層的結構特征,采用磁性測量儀分析了此結構對鐵芯損耗的影響.結果表明:取向硅鋼絕緣涂層包括硅酸鎂底層和磷酸鹽涂層兩部分,硅酸鎂底層與鋼板基體之間主要是嵌入式機械結合,未見底層原子或原子團擴散,因此為了獲得底層對基體良好的附著性,底層應形成細小而排列緊密的硅酸鹽晶粒,并嵌入鋼板基體的表層,但是也會對取向硅鋼的鐵芯損耗產生不利影響.

Abstract: Some analytical methods including XRD,SEM and TEM were used to study the surface microstructure of oriented silicon steel,and the effect of insulating coatings on the iron loss of oriented silicon steel was analyzed with a magnetic property gauge.The results show that the insulating coating consists of two layers,one is Mg₂SiO₄ and the other is a phosphate coating.No diffusion occurs between the substrate and the Mg₂SiO₄ layer,indicating that adhesion is dependent on the shape of Mg₂SiO₄ crystal grains.Some Mg₂SiO₄ grains grow into the substrate and enhance the coatings' adhesion,but increase the iron loss.
